Privacy Policy

Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Video Analyzer ("we", "us") collects and uses personal data when you use our website and services. If you have questions, email support@videoanalyzer.io.

Data We Collect

Account data. When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and a securely hashed password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google.

Content you create. When you use the AI Rap Video Generator, we store the photos and any song clip you upload, the stage, sound, and topic you choose, and the generated video. Uploaded photos and song clips are kept by our AI provider for 7 days and then deleted automatically; your account keeps a reference to them so you can unlock or retry a video in that time. Files you upload in your account settings are stored in your account.

Photos of people. The photos you upload for a rap video show people's faces. We use them only to create the videos you request. We do not use them to identify anyone, create face templates, or train AI models. Only upload photos of yourself or of people who have agreed to appear in the video.

Video analysis tools. When you analyze your own video, it is uploaded to our AI provider's storage. Video to Text sends the whole video; Video to Prompt sends a few still frames sampled from it in your browser. These uploads expire automatically after 24 hours. We keep the file name, its length, the options you chose, and the resulting transcript or prompt in your account. The sample video runs entirely in your browser and uploads nothing.

Credits and purchases. We keep a record of your credit balance and every grant, charge, and refund. When you buy credits, our payment provider processes your payment. We receive the purchase details we need to deliver your credits, such as the amount, currency, status, and order and customer IDs. We do not receive or store your full card number.

Messages to us. If you use the contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address, and message.

API keys. If you create API keys, we store them in a form that lets us verify requests made with them.

Technical data. Our hosting provider processes your IP address, browser and device information, and request logs to deliver the website, keep it secure, and diagnose errors. We use cookies and similar storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences (see our Cookie Policy).

How We Use Your Data

• To create and manage your account and sign you in
• To generate, store, and deliver your videos and other results
• To manage credits, process purchases, and handle refunds
• To reply to your messages and send service emails, such as password resets
• To keep the service secure and prevent abuse, such as duplicate accounts created to collect free previews
• To fix problems and improve the service
• To comply with legal obligations, such as tax and accounting rules

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Legal Bases

Where data protection laws such as the GDPR apply, we process your data to perform our contract with you (providing the service and your purchases), for our legitimate interests (security, abuse prevention, and improving the service), to comply with legal obligations, and with your consent where the law requires it.

Service Providers

We share data only with providers that help us run Video Analyzer, and only as needed for their task:

• Cloudflare — hosting, database, file storage, and email delivery
• fal.ai — AI models that create rap videos and run the video analysis tools; for the AI Rap Video Generator it receives the photos, song clip, topic, and stage you choose; for Video to Text and Video to Prompt, it also receives the video or frames you upload and returns the transcript or prompt
• Google — sign-in, if you choose to sign in with Google
• Payment provider (Stripe, Creem, or Waffo Pancake) — checkout, payment processing, and refunds

These providers may process data in other countries, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses. We may also disclose data if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our users and the service.

How Long We Keep Data

• Account data and your content are kept while your account is active.
• When you delete your account, your account record is deleted. To make sure generated videos and uploaded files are removed from storage as well, email us and we will delete them.
• Purchase and credit records are kept for as long as tax and accounting laws require.
• Server logs are kept for a short period for security and troubleshooting.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can update your profile and delete your account in your account settings. For any other request, email support@videoanalyzer.io. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

Video Analyzer is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls to protect your data. No online service can guarantee complete security, so please use a strong, unique password.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. If a change is significant, we will notify you by email or on the website. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
